The Kent County Water Authority continues to take this usage matter very seriously and we are actively investigating each claim individually. Please bear with us as we make site visits and review each claim. We are also auditing our billing and accounting systems as part of this process. This takes time, but please be assured we hear you. Please see the letter from DPUC to Senator Raptakis and Representative Serpa by clicking here.

Kent County Water Authority The RIPUC issued an order on to stop all collections activities (shutoffs) in March for all regulated public utilities.http://www.ripuc.ri.gov/eventsactions/docket/5022page.html due to COVID. This order was lifted on July 17, 2020. KCWA commenced collection activities up until November 12, 2020. It was decided to stop all collections due to the recent increase in Covid-19 over the last few weeks. This is being done voluntarily by KCWA.
