REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
CONSULTING SERVICES TO UPDATE
PROVIDE A WATER SYSTEM
COMPUTERIZED HYDRAULIC MODEL
Sealed Proposals for Professional Consulting Services in regards to development of a computerized hydraulic model of the Kent County Water Authority Water Supply System will be received by the Kent County Water Authority at their offices located at 1072 Main Street, West Warwick, Rhode Island 02893 until 10:00 a.m.prevailing time, on May 8, 2019 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.
This project is all encompassing and requires varied engineering, engineering computer skills and management disciplines to complete the project. A complete detailed description can be found in the R.F.P. Scope of Work section.
The selected Proposer shall have the ability and shall have a minimum of ten (10) years experience in water system hydraulic model development and updating work for municipal water systems serving 5, 000 or more a customer connections. The consulting team must have demonstrated experience in the development and updating of a minimum of five (5) computerized hydraulic models for water purveyors serving 5,000 or more customer connections.
Detailed Request for Proposal submittal requirements and selection criteria can be obtained at the offices of the Kent County Water Authority on or after April 16, 2019.
A pre-proposal conference shall be held at the offices of the Kent County Water Authority at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, on April 24, 2019. All perspective Proposers should attend the pre-proposal conference. Attendance is not a mandatory requirement for submission of a proposal.
Request for Proposals may be picked up in person at the office of the Kent County Water Authority. Proposers requesting Request for Proposal documents by mail shall forward a non-refundable check (payable to the "Kent County Water Authority") in the amount of $20.00 per set to cover the costs of handling and mailing. Mailing will be First Class U.S. Postal Rate only.
No Proposer may withdraw their proposal or any parts for a period of 90 days,excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays after the actual date of the opening of the Request for Proposals.
The Kent County Water Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all Proposals, or parts thereof, if deemed to be in their best interest.
The offices of the Kent County Water Authority are handicapped accessible.
